News Flash!

Oh my goodness Gertie, I am SO excited! There is a new fast rising star in the digital scrapbooking world that susie2shoes (the matchmaker) turned me on to back in May. Her name is also Vicki. Check out her blog here: http://vicki20.blogspot.com/

She is really talented and creates at an amazing rate! There is on average two complete kits a week (with matching alphas!). She has a ton of great kits on her blog that she offers for free. Anyway, after some pretty shameless begging on my part, she has so graciously agreed to let me offer pages from her kits! I am now an honorary member of her CT (actually, I am the only member now, but it won't be long before this girl is picked up by a store and needs a full blown team!) This LO was created with her "The Great Outdoors" kit, inspired by her recent first camping trip. The only thing that is not included in her kit is the notepaper. I added that. This photo of Wyatt and my Dad is one of my all time favorites. Daddy has such amazing patience with the grands, and takes great pleasure in showing them the world! Password is: wonder
I already had this post ready to go when my world just fell apart. My Memaw has passed, and I am going to be with my Daddy. My heart is breaking and I don't know when I'll be back. Please say a prayer for my Daddy as he goes through this most difficult time in his life.

Vicki, I am so very sorry to read of the loss of your dear Memaw. It is so hard to lose those that are dear to us.
Please know I will pray that you and your daddy find the strength to get through this difficult time.

I am going for back surgery at the end of this week so I won't be around for some time either, but I want to say thank you for all the lovely QPs you so generously share with everyone here.

God Bless you and big hugs!

Hi Vicki!
I don't know where to start, from two emotions at opposite ends.

First of all I am sorry to hear of the loss of your Memaw, I know that your heart is breaking, but it is because it's so full of love for her, and that always makes it more painful. I lost both of mine before the age of 20, and I still to this day have moments of just pure aching in my heart, I just try and think all the memories I do have, and cling to those.
Lady, you have my email address, anytime you need a shoulder to lean on, someone to talk to, a friend anytime, night or day...I am one click of the send button away, I will leave it at that...=)

now...Congrats! on the honorary ct member at vicki20's blog, I have to admit I have not been there, but I do plan on clicking on that link you gave as soon as I finish here.
I know you see she is a rising star, since you are up there among the stars already!

I will miss you while your gone, but know that you are in my thoughts and prayers...
hurry home.......hugs~

OMG hun I am so sorry! HUGS girl and I will be thinking of you! I hope you feel the warmth of the caring that your 'followers' are offering you right now. I'm sorry I am late to the story.

Thank you for the qp though...it was really thoughtful of you to offer it anyway.
