Busy, busy, busy...

I am just barely keeping my head above water these days, I feel exactly like the little smiley with the shark nippin' at his butt! I did manage to create some LO's this weekend. First up is one I did for the DSO Scraplift challenge, it's a lot of fun, there is a really innovative LO to lift every month. This LO was created with "Moody Days" from Kim Broedelet, with the exception of the large vine, which is from Nicole Perry. I took this photo of Matt the Brat and Wyatt Mothers Day weekend. I am really proud of capturing this small moment in time. It just makes my heart sing!
Next up is a photo of myself and Lilly the same weekend. I created it using the posting bonus for the May Color Challenge from Kimbob. I call it "Princess Nana". Let me just say this...Lilly is a bossy little hussy and I am a sucker. She says "sit right here, Nana, you be a princess", and I sit and undergo untold humiliation. Shawna dared me to scrap and post this, so I say WTH, dignity is overrated, here we go! On another note, it just occured to me, Obama should assign Lilly to the terrorists at Guantonamo Bay, she could whup 'em into shape REAL quick!
As requested, I have posted Dial-Up links for the May CC kit.
Big hugs, Vicki

Wonderful layouts! The fishing layout is gorgeous. I love the hanging frame with the vine --- very creative and beautiful. I think you're a great grandma to be willing to become a "princess" for Lilly! :)

Beautiful LOs. Thank you so much for sharing them. You SHOULD be proud of that photo - it's one in a million. Lilly should be proud too - she did a lovely job with her spa treatment. I think we shoud all wear daisies in our hair. Hee hee hee

What a wonderful Nana you are and what a memory keeper this will be for Lilly.

We have always done silly things with our grands. We have photos of me in make-up they applied and Grandpa in dresses and hats playing dress-up or tied up to a post on our patio. I consider them some of the best moments in our lives. Our daughter-in-law who is a real jewel asked me to make albums for both Karessa and Austin and tell the story in the eyes of grandparents because she feels these are the moments they will always remember. I am sure your grands will, too.

The photo of Matt and Wyatt touched my heart as well. How very moving and how special. I have admired your work for a long time and I think you improve with age. ROFLOL

Thanks for sharing your lovely layouts. I haven't visited much due to my health, but I get your updates and I usually read through them. I just don't download if I can't come leave a thank you.

Big Hugs!
