There's a New Princess In Town!

Yep, I have been blessed with a new granddaughter! After all these years, my son Dave has a princess of his own! Bless his heart, I don't know when he'll come down from the clouds. Her name is Natalie, and I'm not prejudiced or anything, but I think she is just downright BEAUTIFUL! Can we say PINK?

I've been busier than usual this week, and the 'ole blog is the first thing that seems to get neglected, but I wanted to let ya'll know about some of the goings on at DSO. First up is a kit named "Live, Love, Laugh" from LP&3dogs. Here's my LO to give ya some ideas! You can pick it up for yourself right here.

Next is a brand new release from Charlie's Digiscraps called "A Starry Night". It was just absolutely perfect for this photo I took of Cinderella's Castle at night! It was like Charlie had designed the kit especially for it, I just LOVE it when that happens! Run and grab it for yourself right now while it's on sale for only $3.50 right here! I am just in love with the clouds and the sparkley star trail!

August Color Challenge Kit!

WooHoo! I have completed the August Color Challenge kit and it's only the 11th of the month! I ended up skipping last month, the swatch just didn't blow my skirt up and I couldn't come up with anything. This month, however, is a different story alltogether! Ya'll know about my pink obsession? Well, the August swatch satisfied it. I didn't work with a real 'theme', but it did kind of evolve into a flower garden type of kit. I am particularly proud of the copper wire/flower dangle and the lattice paper. Password is: garden
I am still working on a clustered border, and since it is so early in the month, we should have leftovers! I would love to see any LO's you create!

Lots of New Stuff!

Well, that sorry so and so Mr. MoJo has decided to pay me a visit, and it was a danged good thing, too, I had goo-gobs of stuff to do! First up let me show you a LO of Ms.Lilly done with

Perfect Day QP

I know, I know...I've been a terrible blogger lately. The good news is I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lord help me, I hope it's not a freight train.

I want to show ya'll the newest collab kit at Scrap That Idea. It's called "Perfect Day" and the gals decided to try something new this month. They all worked with the same swatch, but no theme. The end result is a HUGE kit that you can use for virtually any type of LO. I think this idea is a real winner! There are ten different parts, you can pick and choose if you like for $1.00 per kit. Or...you can spend just $5.00 and get the whole danged thing. Hmmm...sounds like a heck of a deal to me! Here's a preview of the whole thing, to see more detail just visit the store.

Around our house we scrap the good and the bad. While at the beach in Pensacola Wyatt was stung by jellyfish. Painful, but he was a real trooper. As I was soaking him down in vinegar, he asked "Nana, aren't you going to take pictures?". That's my boy! So without further ado, I give you "Wyatt's Not So Perfect Day". BTW, about ten minutes after the vinegar soak, he was fine.

Berry Sweet

More Toof Fairy LO's

Ole Mr. Mojo is still playing hide and seek around my house, I'll be just zipping along working on a page, then BOOM! I have no idea what to do next. I did manage to finish these two, but I'll never tell how long it took! LOL!!! Created with "Toof Fairy" from KimB Designs and GS Creations. Even though it has now went to full price, it's still a bargain for such a humongous kit.

These LO's feature some of the many photos from Disney. First up is one of Matt while we were waiting for Lilly at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Those fairy godmothers are a persistant bunch! This one insisted that Matt needed to be given the wand treatment (although we all know he is already a Prince Charming in disguise).
