Good golly Gertie, this has been one WILD week. I have been slammed from all sides, at my real job that's pretty much normal, but I got hit with a double whammy on the CT side, too. I think I've got it all under control now. (Knock on wood) There is something really, REALLY big in the works at DSO. Mark down September 4th on your calendar and clear out a LOT of space on your hard drive! You're 'gonna need it!

I did finally mange to get the leftovers packed up for ya'll. There is a cluster border, a piece of really tattered paper, some copper frames and wires, a beaded wire, beads (and a mini tut on how to string your own), and a stitched journal strip. Bad CT Girl!

Good golly Gertie, here it is Friday and I haven't told ya'll about Vicki Parker's gift kit this week! Better late than never, so here goes. It's named "Artistic Moments" and I can't believe she is giving this one away. Hurry up and get it before she changes her mind! Just be sure to leave her some loving for being so generous!

My LO features some photos of Wyatt from about five years ago. Wyatt was staying with me and I noticed it had been pretty quiet for a while. Yep, he had found a bottle of my polish and decided to do his own mani-pedi.

I have meant to scrap these several times, but it just didn't happen. This kit was perfect!

There's a New Princess In Town!

Yep, I have been blessed with a new granddaughter! After all these years, my son Dave has a princess of his own! Bless his heart, I don't know when he'll come down from the clouds. Her name is Natalie, and I'm not prejudiced or anything, but I think she is just downright BEAUTIFUL! Can we say PINK?

I've been busier than usual this week, and the 'ole blog is the first thing that seems to get neglected, but I wanted to let ya'll know about some of the goings on at DSO. Next is a brand new release from Charlie's Digiscraps called "A Starry Night". It was just absolutely perfect for this photo I took of Cinderella's Castle at night! August Color Challenge Kit!

WooHoo! I have completed the August Color Challenge kit and it's only the 11th of the month! I ended up skipping last month, the swatch just didn't blow my skirt up and I couldn't come up with anything. This month, however, is a different story alltogether! Ya'll know about my pink obsession? Well, the August swatch satisfied it. I didn't work with a real 'theme', but it did kind of evolve into a flower garden type of kit. I am particularly proud of the copper wire/flower dangle and the lattice paper. Password is: garden
I am still working on a clustered border, and since it is so early in the month, we should have leftovers! I would love to see any LO's you create!

Perfect Day QP

I know, I know...I've been a terrible blogger lately. The good news is I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lord help me, I hope it's not a freight train.

I want to show ya'll the newest collab kit at Scrap That Idea. It's called "Perfect Day" and the gals decided to try something new this month. They all worked with the same swatch, but no theme. The end result is a HUGE kit that you can use for virtually any type of LO. I think this idea is a real winner! There are ten different parts, you can pick and choose if you like for $1.00 per kit. Around our house we scrap the good and the bad. While at the beach in Pensacola Wyatt was stung by jellyfish. Painful, but he was a real trooper. As I was soaking him down in vinegar, he asked "Nana, aren't you going to take pictures?". That's my boy! So without further ado, I give you "Wyatt's Not So Perfect Day". BTW, about ten minutes after the vinegar soak, he was fine.
