I know this isn't nice - but I'm glad it's you and not me. So tired of cold and snow here in MO. Yet, when I lived in Texas we rarely if ever got snow. I can remember a Christmas Morning when i was about 10 we had a White Christmas for about 10 minutes.
BWWWWWWWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I laughed so loud now at your comment that Wayne came over to look too! HOLEY COW that's a lot of snow- like us you shouldn't really have any and now and again it does here too- People go nuts. Thanks for the pics, the pimps and mostly for my laugh this morning
OMG! I can't believe it. I lived in the Ft Worth area for 40 years and never saw snow like that. The most I remember was like 5" on Valentines Day one year. It is weird when it snows in TX.
I've been in Minnesota for 5 years now & am so over snow. It isn't pretty or fun anymore. We have a good 4 feet on the ground now and the plowed piles are higher than my house. I can't see my neighbors at all. They are trucking snow out of the neighborhoods from the corners because it is like driving in a white maze.
If you are looking for heat, look no further than sunny South Africa. Today is our first cool day in two weeks in my part of the country. Have a stunning day, and thanks again for all the lovely gifts you share.
My name is Vicki, and I live in the Pineywoods of East Texas. Yep, I'm one of the few and proud, a born Texan! I have three grandchildren that are the light of my life . I scrap-booked for years, but found digital in May of 2006 and have not created a paper page since! I'm an amateur photographer and take so many pictures I will never be caught up. Besides scrapping, I love scuba diving, the beach and hanging around with family. I got the nickname Bubbles shortly after I began diving.

Wow, beautiful snow in Texas, what a treat.
Wow! That's a lot of snow, especially if you don't usually get snow.
Enjoy it...We have a lot of snow in DE!
