Finally!!!!

No, Lizanne, I haven't been on vacation (I wish!!!!). Unfortunately my real job (the one that allows me to live in the style I have become accustomed to) has interfered with a vengeance! I have been working 60+ hours a week just trying to keep my head above water. I haven't even been to the casino since September, and anyway you look at it that is just WRONG!!! I did however manage to eek out a fall kit, I call it "Happy Fall Ya'll". Chunk it in your cart right here. Of course I couldn't leave ya'll without a little gifty, so here's a little taste. I used Jodiann's cool "Fat Fall Dot" styles on the frame and one of the papers. Check 'em out! I'm trying to get some Christmas stuff together, so stay tuned!

Happy Birthday Wench!!!

For those that don't know, Kristine aka Wench is a fellow member of Kim Broedelet's CT. She keeps us in stitches with her warped sense of humor and party tales. Her 44th birthday is today, and Kim came up with the idea to create a special kit to celebrate. We voted on the swatch and the theme was an 80's style, which ended up having a lot of cocktails and high heels thrown in. We had a secret area in the forum that Kristine couldn't see to do our planning, so this is really a surprise for her! I actually knocked out the DSO Color Challenge early for a change! Jodiann has some super cool new Texture Washed styles coming out 10/05/10. I will add the link as soon as I get it so you can snag them for yourself. In the meantime you can check out the alpha and the blue frame to get a peek at what you can do with them. Treading Water...

and just barely keeping my head above the waves, lol. Ya'll know how it goes when you come back from vacation, right? You have to try and catch up with a weeks worth of of work while still trying to keep up with the mountains of paper that arrive on your desk every single day without fail. Now, let's make it worse. Two days after I got back from South Padre, Mel the girl wonder secretary left on her vacation. As soon as she got back the Boss Man left to go out of the country, which leaves yours truly in charge of the whole store. He usually takes care of paying half the bills, in addition to keeping up with the tire orders and inventory so now all of that is on my plate too. Now throw in dealing with the bozos from our other store and resisting the urge to fire everyone and start from scratch, the fact that PSCS5 and Vista don't seem to play together very well (my computer is constantly crashing and I haven't had the time to fix it) and you'll get an idea of where I'm at. Can we say stressed to the max? Uhmm hmm...I thought so.

Anyway, I donned my big girl panties this morning and put together a mini for KimBob's Color Challenge. I hope ya'll enjoy today's little gifty. FYI... I used Jodiann's "Get Bent" style for the frame. They are just too cool!

At Long Last...

To all of my poor neglected readers, I apologize for going MIA. My life is pretty much a train wreck right now... work is absolutely crazy (as usual), Mr. MoJo has taken a hike, the relaxing vacation turned out to be not so relaxing, and well...you get the idea. More details to come later. I did take the time to play with some new styles from the fabulous Jodiann. This gal is amazing, she just keeps coming up with such super cool stuff! I used the Bold Summer Chalkies and the Halftone Styles for today's little gifty.

PDW May Color Challenge Mini-Kit

Thanks to all of ya'll for the well wishes, I am slowly but surely getting better, this morning my foot actually resembles a foot and not a football. I rigged up a lapdesk so I could work on my laptop while keeping my foot elevated, so that I could at least try and catch up with some of my scrapping stuff. This months swatch at Plain Digital Wrapper is kinda on the bright side. Well, okay, it's REALLY bright. Like NEON bright. Definitely out of my comfort zone, but hey, that's why it's called a challenge, right? Grab your sunglasses and enjoy! PS... I am such a doofus, I should've mentioned the fact that if you like that paper scrapped chalked look on your pages you need to snag Jodiann's awesome Chalkie's Styles. No, I Didn't Fall In A Well...

One word to explain my absence...IRS. Well, actually, we can't blame it all on the IRS, I got the bright idea to change the software system for both of our tire stores in March. I have been working 60+ hours a week, which leaves no time for the fun stuff! Round and Round We Go, A Wiener and a Gifty

KimBob has a new masterpiece available, and what an amazing fun kit it is! It's built around a carousel theme, but like all of her kits it is very versatile and you can create many different LO's with it. Get Merry A Round for yourself and have a blast! As I was slaving away on the second LO and ended up with something like 50 layers of popcorn it occured to me that it would be cool to have some popcorn scatter...so I made it for ya'll!

March PDW Color Challenge!

This month's color swatch at Plain Digital Wrapper was a whole lot easier on the eyes, not to mention being SOOO much easier to work with! I didn't work with a theme, so this is kind of a general all purpose kit. I did chunk in some shamrocks at the last moment, though! I hope ya'll enjoy! One thing I need to explain, the green chipboard frame started life as a full size page frame, and I meant to resize it for ya'll, but I got sidetracked and forgot. So don't be shocked when this huge 12x12 frame pops up. Use it as a page frame, or resize it to your liking.
