The counter rolled over 50,000 hits! I never expected this when I started my blog this time last year!
Well, I've gotta tell ya'll about my day from hell (yesterday). If you're a regular reader, you know I have a bad case of insomnia. I woke up at 3:00 AM. Couldn't go back to sleep, so I finally got up and made the sucky previews for the March CC "add-on". Then of course (Murphy's Law) I started to get sleepy around 5:15. The alarm goes off at 5:45, so I was just kinda' drowsing around, and hit the snooze button twice (for good measure, hey, I've been up since 3:00 AM), then I finally drag my dead butt out of bed. I do a fast shower, make-up and dress. I'm still in the on-time window, so I gather all my crap and head out the door. The door won't unlock! I am now locked INSIDE of my house! Yep, my deadbolt picked today to just DIE! I did a fast recon, and figured out a way to have the front and back doors locked, and left a window in the laundry room unlocked. I was not aware that there are so many sizes of locks, so I didn't measure anything, assuming (WRONG) that I can just run by Lowes and get a quick fix for my problem. Fast forward to later in the day...I got an email saying that the board meeting for the Humane Society was scheduled for 6:oo PM, so forget about going to Lowes. About midway through the meeting, the lights dim, there is a humongous BOOM, and the bottom fell out. Yes, it was a real t-floater! (Ya'll know what I mean, LOL!) No one had an umbrella because there was no sign of rain when we went inside (although there are three in my truck, 'ole Murphy again). I am now soaked to the skin, and begin the drive home. It was raining so hard I could only go about 40 MPH, so I didn't make it home till almost 9:00. As soon as I pulled into the carport I remembered the lock situation. I crossed my fingers and tried the key again, but nope, it's still dead. As I'm walking back to get the ladder, the light bulb in the carport decides to join the deadbolt and blew out. So now I am soaking wet, on a ladder, climbing through the window, breaking into my own house, in the DARK!!! Needless to say, by this time all I want to do is take a hot shower, put on my jammies, go to bed and hope that Thursday will be a better day. I'm telling ya'll all of this to explain why there isn't something special to celebrate the 50,000 blog hits.
Okay, enough of my whining and moving on to what ya'll came for! Password is: wet
Here's more March CC Stuff. I really like the way the chipped metal frame turned out. The metal bee, ladybug and butterfly are pretty cool, too. Once I had them finished, I decided to make the charms with them. See, that's how this stuff just grows and grows! Click on the preview to get a look at the detail. Let me know what ya'll think!
Todays gift: expired
Remember your manners!
Big hugs, Vicki

BOY HOWDY, by the time you were on the ladder at the end of te day, I wanted to cry... I am sending a big hug and a thank you for more of this kit. I did start to play with some of the stuff in this kit yesterday - but these should help fill the gaps...
I will be back later to obtain them.
I hope your day today is far better! Sun is shining here, so it makes the 15 degrees easier to take...
Tell me, was there a Margarita at the end of it all? Should have been - that or Calgon!
