My Blue Valentine QP

I was just wondering if you could help me...I have templates in PSD format and would like to save them as PNG so I can use them in a different scrapbooking program (cuz I suck at photoshop). Any idea how to do this, or where I could look to find out? Also, how do you save your QP so the windows stay transparent to pop the pictures in?? Thanks, love your site and your layouts I see on Vicki's blog all the time :)
