DSO December Color Challenge kit

Howdy, everyone! I know I've really been scarce around here lately, but believe me, amongst the bedlam that is my life these days, I haven't forgotten ya'll. With 90% of my shopping completed on Black Friday, I fell into that false sense of security and coasted halfway through December. Yesterday it dawned on me that I have to get my rear in gear! Knowing full well that the rest of this week will be a frenzy of shopping, wrapping and baking I figured I better get the December Color Challenge done or it would be after Christmas before I found time to work on it. The colors this month looked kind of old fashioned to me, like stuff you might find in your Granny's attic, so that was the general direction I took. Have fun playing!

A Fresh Start

Kim threw this one at us Wednesday afternoon and I had a board meeting for the Humane Society that night, so I got home pretty late and just fell into bed. I had the highly technical drawing for the 11/24/09 Comment Contest this morning. Yep, I wrote down everyone's name on itty bitty pieces of paper, folded them up, chunked them into the mayonnaise jar and had Mel draw a name. Christmas First, Big News and a Giftie!

Just in case ya'll have somehow missed it, I have to tell you about Kim B's newest masterpiece, "Christmas First". This kit is just flippin' amazing!
