First off, I want to share a LO of Lilly made with a photo that was taken at my Dad's 70th birthday party. I used papers from "Whisper of Love" by Anita (Nana's Attic). The template is "Breakthrough" by Helena Jole, and the journal paper is also from Helena Jole. Mass quantities of cake had been consumed at this point. Lilly has such an innocent, "Who? Me?" expression on her face. (Along with a lot of cake crumbs!). It never seizes to amaze me how the most ordinary moments can turn out to be so beautiful! I just love the wide eyed look that I managed to capture here!

Now, on to other matters. Get ready, here comes a rant! In the very near future I am going to stop posting freebies here on the blog. I cannot make myself tolerate the rudeness that this entails. Believe me, I have tried, but it is just not in my nature. I was puzzled the other day regarding the hits on the blog to the number of downloads. Hits to downloads was almost double. I couldn't figure this out. Then I had one of those "Aha" moments. These are people who are not even reading the post, they are just coming to grab the freebie and run for parts unknown. Then they are having to come back a second time to get the password. To those grab & run people (who are probably not reading this anyway) I told you that the freebies would one day dry up. You may read previous posts regarding manners to refresh your memory. I would love to continue to share with those dear readers who actually READ my posts and take the short period of time to comment. Rest assured, I know who ya'll are. I think I will take a lesson from Bunny and start a "Fun Club". Until I get the details worked out, I will continue to share with the ungrateful masses. Okey dokey, rant over...

This QP is from a LO I created of Lilly stealing her Dad's hat. This is another kit from Nana's Attic. (Simple Beauty) If you are not a member, you should be! She has amazing kits that are a bargain! http://nanas-attic.blogspot.com/ Password is: thief I thought I would share a couple of tips regarding techniques that I use. Take a doodle or any element and apply an embossing style. (I like simple emboss). This will give you a lot of dimension. Do not be afraid to stack stuff! When I started scrapping fifteen years ago, I thought everything had to be placed just so, evenly spaced. Nay...nay...nay my friend! Life is a journey, junk it up! Here I have doubled up the frames and layered lots of elements. Do not be afraid, that is the wonder of Photoshop, the UNDO button!

I'm having trouble getting this to download, is it that the links are still removed or is it 4 shared. I feel sad that rude thoughtless people have spoiled it for the polite and grateful fans.

Thanks anyway, will pop back tomorrow as usual.

Thank you for the Simple Beauty QP. It's adorable (as is the picture you used in your LO); I also enjoyed the "shy Wyatt" one with the button things along the side.
Not much scrapping got done this weekend - spent quality time with my hubby. I'll let you know when I create something else!
